One of twelve faculties of University of Zielona Góra, Faculty of Humanities is one of the oldest and largest – its history goes back half a century; it has existed in the present form since 2019. The Faculty cooperates with Institute of German Philology, Institute of Polish Philology, Institute of Philosophy, Institute of History and Institute of Modern Languages, which employ in total 130 academic teachers  (60 researchers). The Faculty has 750 full-time and part-time first-cycle and second-cycle students  in 11 degree programmes.
